Quick post!

Yes, mom should really be getting ready right now for our visit down to Catskill today (yay - Grandma & Grandpa, yuck - appointment with accountant for taxes)... nothing against the accountant of course! Anyway, mom said my cuteness has distracted her yet again and she wanted to post these quick before we headed out.

First of all, we forgot to mention that last week I went to the doctor. It was a great visit up until..... the NEEDLES! damn vaccines!!??? There I was, totally oblivious, smiling at mom & dad and then BAM! that nurse stuck me in the thigh and boy did I scream! There were tears everywhere, me, mom, I had never screamed like that in my life, it was serious. Then finally when I started to catch my breath and regained vision in my teary eyes, BAM another needle! This went on 3 times - it was horrifying! Luckily I wasn't traumatized, because afterwards mommy & daddy gave me really BIG HUGS! I was quite sleepy and grumpy for a couple days, but it passed and now I can go to Africa?! right?? That's what those damn needles were for???? Other then the stabbings, the doctor's visit was great! It was my 2 month checkup and I weighed in at 11 lbs 11 ounces, 22 inches long with a 39.5 cm circumference on my noggin! That means my brain is growing :)

My big smiles & adorable cheeks have caused mom & dad to take, yet again, an abundance of pictures! Luckily for me I'm used to it by now. Blind from the flash, but used to it. So here are some other photos they wanted to share:

Full of smiles

I am smiling even more often now. Mom & Dad love each and every one. This past weekend I had my first trip to Vermont, but unfortunately it was cold and snowy so I spent most of the time in the big blue van with Daddy while Mommy worked at the studio, but I did get to meet some of the really nice people that she works with - Dan, Ben, Jeff and John. They thought I was a cutie and loved my head full of stylish hair. We even went to Brueggers - yummy! I can't wait to go back to VT when it's nice and warm and at that time I'll be big enough to meet Ben's dog Charlie, who I know for sure will lick me all over!

The next day Uncle Mikey (Mom & Dad's friend) came to visit. I hadn't seen him since I was a few days old. He is lots of fun to play with! We danced and cuddled, it was great.

Here are a bunch of pictures that were taken in the past few days.

So many firsts

I've had quite an eventful few days since I last wrote. I guess that's to be expected when I've only been around for 8 weeks (tomorrow!), every day there's something new. This afternoon I went to the supermarket for the first time and last Friday I went to the mall, also a first. Mom & Dad picked mid-day times for these outings to avoid as many "oooh cute baby, can I touch??" as possible. I hung out in the Baby Bjorn (which I LOVE) and of course instantly fell asleep. So my recollection of the adventures are a bit fuzzy, but luckily Mom & Dad took pictures so I'd remember.

My sleeping/feeding routine has become a little better as well. Mom & Dad are psyched! Thank goodness for Baby Wise, a fabulous book they highly recommend! It's amazing how much better I sleep when it's not just in 5 minute increments and we've tricked my metabolism to work on a schedule which makes feeding times so much easier for everyone. As long as I'm napping nearby, I let Mom & Dad get stuff done now during the day. They think it's incredible.

Well, here are some pictures from the past week. As you can see, I've been quite the entertainer!
