June was a fun-filled month with lots of work keeping Mom & Dad busy and many adventures for me to explore in our travels. We went to 8 different states and bought a postcard for each state that we went to for my scrapbook. I saw touristy things, parks in every location some with and without doggies, recording studios, supermarkets and rental cars ;) my favorite one - the Ford Edge because it has a vista roof, which is a sun roof throughout the entire car - I LOVED looking up at the sky....
Many new milestones to report: I am getting even better at supporting myself and using my hands. Mommy loves how I can find my pacifier where ever it's hanging and put it into my mouth, I have also become quite the experienced flyer, sleeping through take off and landing ;) I also love doing chin ups with my car seat visor. Apparently it's hysterical to watch but keeps me entertained for hours. I can now also put myself to sleep (YAY!). This has happened quite a few times now. Mommy feeds me, puts me down, says goodnight and walks out of the room. Then I chat with myself, squiggle and play and then before you know it, POOF, I'm asleep :)
Then the best milestone of all... I ROLLED OVER! It was my Father's Day present to Daddy. We were in Ohio visiting with Carly & Colby and everyone was watching me as I played on the floor and then I just did it, I rolled from my back to my belly. I won't lie, it was a bit challenging but they cheered me on and boy was I proud afterwards!
June was a busy, but fun month - Vermont, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey! Here are some photos (and videos) of our adventures:
visiting PJ at Buckingham (his seniors very hip day program ;)

and then we returned home - this is me the next day at the doctor's for my 6.5 month check up. Luckily for me Mommy & Daddy postponed my shots for a couple weeks since we're heading out to California soon, so they wanted to make my time home a pleasant one :)
The doctor was VERY happy with my progress - woohooo! 6.5 months later he still loves holding me when I come in for a visit. I weighed in at 17 lbs 12 oz, 25 1/2 inches tall with a 44 cm measurement on my noggin' (yay for brain growth!).
Stay tuned for future updates, until then - Happy 4th of July!
