Florida Vacation!!

I went to Boca Raton, FL for the first time this year, it was so exciting. Mommy has been going on this family trip (around Christmas & New Years) every year since she was 5! The only year they didn't go was last year (since I was born December 18th!) It was such a wonderful time for everyone to see a new generation in the condo. I LOVED the beach, I loved the ocean, the pool, the grass, the sunshine - everything! We also had a chance to visit with Dyan, Larry, Carly & Cory - family friends from Miami.

During this trip I tried fish for the first time and to Mommy's surprise (since she's not a big fan) I loved it, ate it all up! I also learned how to crawl up stairs (the first time was a bit of a surprise for all of us, the gate was down, Jenny thought Daddy was watching me, Daddy thought Lisa was, and hehehe, up I went!) As I made my way up a few steps on my own everyone came running over (with excitement, or fear, or both, ha) and let me continue climbing with a spotter, of course. Then Grandma taught me how to butt my way back down. It was fun :)

It was a perfect vacation and I can't wait to go again next year!

visiting with the Dormans :)

what you can't see here is how hysterical it was every time I flung the sand with my shovel!

New Years Eve - watching fireworks on the beach! (or sleeping through it...)

my stair adventure ;)

I was digging and digging and digging...

Merry Christmas!

We spent Christmas in Rhode Island with Daddy's side of the family. I had so much fun!! I think everyone had fun with me too, because I now crawled all over the place, something I wasn't able to do the last time we visited. I also have an even better sense of humor, things are so much funnier at this age ;) We also visited with Mike & Rachel and I ate my first pickle (YUM!) Santa was very good to me this year :)

Secret Santa

Every year Mom & Dad get together with Mom's friend's from High School (Elementary School actually!) for a potluck dinner and gift exchange. A year ago, the Secret Santa dinner was the first time I met all of those friends, I was 5 days old at the time. Mom can't believe it's already been a year (she was quite hung up on this for a while...) It was a fabulous time had by all!

My 1st Chanukah!

Here are a few pictures from my 1st Chanukah. Even though I made my entrance in December 2007, Chanukah was so early last year that I wasn't born yet. I enjoyed the holiday - looking at all the twinkling candles and visiting with family in New Jersey at the Bergman latke fest! It was also the first time I got to meet Elliott, he is so tiny and cute. Some day we'll have lots of fun together - I can see it now!!
